U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.), Chair of the Subcommittee on Tourism, Commerce and Export Promotion, will convene a subcommittee listening to titled “Oversight and Implementation of Journey and Tourism Laws” on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. ET. The listening to will study federal implementation of journey and tourism laws enacted final Congress, together with the influence of Model USA funding within the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2022, the Division of Commerce’s implementation plans for the Omnibus Journey and Tourism Act, which handed within the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, together with the Division of Transportation’s implementation of journey and tourism insurance policies within the Infrastructure Funding and Jobs Act. The listening to will even talk about the implementation of the Division of Commerce’s Nationwide Journey and Tourism Technique that was launched in June 2022.
